Visa Information
Some international visitors will need to obtain a visa for travel to the U.S. The latest official information on visas for foreign citizens can be found on the U.S. Department of State website. Since the visa process may vary from country to country, it is best to start the process as early as possible to be able to satisfy all requirements and paperwork.
ACM Visa Support Letter
The Association for Computing Machinery does not issue formal invitation letters for visas. However, the ACM can issue a visa support letter. Please send all visa support letter requests to supportletters at acm dot org with the following required information:
- Your name as it appears on your passport
- Your current mailing address
- The name of the conference you wish to attend: SIGSOFT 2012 FSE-20
- If you have any papers accepted for the conference, please indicate whether you are the sole author or a co-author, and provide the full title of the document
- Registration confirmation number
